Here's a statement 'T' shaped staircase I designed recently for a client in Loughton, Essex. The original Oak staircase, which it replaced, had to be supported by 4 rather ugly story newel posts, whereas Jarrods made this design with 2 steel flitch plates hidden within the structure. The result gives a completely open space to the back, which Mrs Simcox really liked.
