Bespoke Cantilevered Staircases
Designed to look as if the stairs are literally ‘floating’ in mid-air, a cantilevered staircase, or floating staircase, will become a focal point of your home.
With a steel string hidden in the supporting wall, we slide the Oak treads onto steel brackets, ensuring no supports or fixings of any kind are visible. A choice of glass or wrought iron balustrade completes the look
Bespoke Open Tread Staircases
An Open Tread staircase allows more light to flow into your hallway and gives a contemporary look and feel to the space it occupies. There are many different styles to choose from, including Single Spine Stairs & Zig-Zag Stairs both of which incorporate steel strings which can be powder coated to any RAL colour.
Spiral Staircases
Often confused with helicals, spiral staircases have treads that wind around a central column, whereas helicals curve around a void. Spiral stairs have a smaller footprint than traditional stairs, so if space is a premium, then a spiral staircase could be the solution to your problems.
Helical Staircases
Helical staircases, or curved staircases, are among the more complex design challenges we undertake, whereby our highly skilled craftsmen curve the Oak strings and handrails to create wonderful, flowing staircases with a choice of matching Oak spindles or contrasting wrought iron or curved glass balustrading.
Wrought Iron Staircases
Wrought Iron spindles are used on both traditional and contemporary staircases. Indeed, cast and wrought iron spindles have been used to decorate balustrades for centuries, and yet, with the right design, they can look sleek and modern too. What do you think?
