My Design Background

I started out creating 3D Point of Sale displays for global brands like Coca-Cola & Canada Dry, before transitioning into retail store design for leading High Street names including M&S, Debenhams, Austin Reed, and Bally Shoes.

In 1990, I opened a marketing agency, where I designed campaigns for prestigious clients such as Thomas Cook, The Daily Telegraph, and The Ritz Hotel. 

At the turn of the millennium, I chose to return to my roots in interior design, focusing on one specific area: Bespoke Staircases. 

So in 2001, I transitioned from corporate brands to the residential sector, discovering my true niche in the complex geometry and elegance of bespoke staircases. 

In the 25 years since, I've developed a diverse portfolio of designs, from the elegant simplicity of a straight flight to the technical complexity of helical staircases and gravity-defying cantilevered staircases. 

I work with a varied clientele, including private individuals, architects, developers, and interior designers, and take pride in solving complex architectural challenges with beautiful, bespoke solutions - such as our Award Winning staircases at Contour House in Baslow, Derbyshire, designed by leading architects Sanei Hopkins. 

This project earned us a prestigious WOOD AWARD - the ultimate industry accolade, where the Master of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters commented that, 'the workmanship displayed is quite exceptional.' It really doesn't get any better than that.
