Designed to look as if the stairs are literally ‘floating’ in mid air, a cantilevered staircase will become the focal point of your home.
With a steel string hidden in the supporting wall, we slide the Oak treads onto steel brackets ensuring no supports or fixings of any kind are visible. A choice of glass or wrought iron balustrade completes the look.

Helical staircases are one of the more complex design challenges we undertake, whereby our highly skilled craftsmen curve the Oak strings and handrails to create wonderful, flowing staircases with a choice of matching Oak spindles or contrasting wrought iron or curved glass balustrading.

Often confused with helicals, spiral staircases have treads that wind around a central column, whereas helicals curve around a void. Spiral stairs have a smaller footprint than traditional stairs, so if space is a premium, then a spiral staircase could be the solution to your problems.

This customer's staircase had seen better days. The old softwood balustade and handrails had been painted and varnished in a very dark colour, and those 'candlestick' spindles made the whole thing look like it belonged in a museum or a haunted house. The customer's dream was to give this old staircase a new, modern, light Oak makeover . . .

Just 6 weeks after my first visit, our highly skilled carpenter arrived to start the full renovation. It took him 3 full days to transform a 'death trap' into this beautiful new staircase. The Solid Oak treads have a special anti-slip coating, and the 10mm Toughened Glass, combined with a structural handrail, make this staircase completely safe - and it's all Guaranteed for 10 Years.
